If you are reading this then you pulled a Snow White and consumed something you shouldn't have, something like a magickal roofie. Yes that's what I said a magickal roofie. Now if you're wondering who wrote this, you did. Before you took the amnesia drink and fell and hit your head. Again. Twice in one week, if you were any klutzy-er you'd be Sailor Moon. I know it's confusing that I know you have drank the potion and fell but I know that because a soothsayer said so. Don't look at me in that tone of voice or or... just don't ok sometimes the unbelievable is the truth. Nano'leven, synopsis.. of sorts Yeah. Not much idea really, so this'll do for now...

Not much plot. But what I do have so far (being far more Dr Who based than planned):

Boy meets girl
Boy saves girl's life
Girl falls for boy (literally and figuratively)
Boy and girl go back to Boy's house.
Boy discovers a major family secret, and is ultimately revealed to be descended directly from a popular Comic/TV Sci-fi show's main character.
Boy and girl together find out a little more about the Boy's history, as boy acquires familiar tools used in the 'family trade' as it were.
Strange, wonderful, timey~wimey things happen.

NaNiWriMo extra: Maia The dusty Oklahoma dirt puffed up in little dust devils as I walked up the drive to my house. Thunder rumbled and lightening cracked through the summer sky, the scent of an oncoming storm filled the air.

Lycan Vampire ROLEPLAY INIVTE The train rolled into Boston at 11:03pm on Sunday night.

The tall woman exited her cabin and followed the crowed passengers to the train station. Many split apart and shuffled their way through the cold, dark, and damp streets. The woman, however, stood on the edge of the train stop until the whistle blew and it pulled out of the station. The half-moon was high in the sky, and provided moderate light across the sleepy town of her birth. Yes, Boston was her home, the home of her family...her bloodline...her pack. She belonged here, and she could scent it on the wind. She inhaled the chilly frost bitten air and tasted the moist smells on the wLycan Vampire ROLEPLAY INIVTE by *LastHylianChevalier

Butterball Riley sat in Costa Coffee stirring a medium black coffee with a Wispa bar. She would have rather been sat in The Highwayman but the pub had changed hands and now the selection of drinks was sparse and all food was deep fried – even the lettuce. The air smelt of chocolate and cream, but Riley had confused the barista by ordering her coffee 'black like my soul'.

She had snagged one of the few areas of proper dining seats with tables rather than the creaky, sticky leather armchairs that consumed all the floor space. Youth Mrs Fletcher sat inside looking out on the farmyard. It was filled with laughter and the happiness of five sisters having fun. They had not a care in the world. Oh, what she wouldn't have given to re-gain her life of carefree wonder – the delight of a cold stream on warm toes, of meeting an attractive man for the first time, and not to forget the Officer's parties! Underwater Madness The fletcher family were leaving the farm as a full unit for the first time in over a year. Usually their father stayed back to manage things, only leaving for social functions and special occasions. Their mother would often stay back when she was having one of her days.

Today's special occasion was a grand opening. In the heart of Jupiter's Capitol a museum had been opened. Humanity's Past. It was called, and it claimed to have relics from the time when everyone had been earth-bound and there were no space colonies.

Being a Writer On Why Being a Writer is Neither Glamorous nor Exciting

If you watch the blogs and various sites around the internet about writing, you've probably seen at least one list that details a few universal truths about writers, but they all pretty much boil down to several actual truths.

All writers write.
All writers procrastinate.
Writers don't actually write, because we spend all our time doing something else.

This probably explains why, in the dark hours of one of the very last days of NaNoWriMo, I'm sitting here writing this, when my NaNo is sitting in another window with a pathetic 31.8k words.

Let's go to Camp!

Just a quick reminder about the Createspace deadline before we move on - Its June 30th guys! That means there are only 41 days left to get your NaNo novel to a place where you're ready to get some free proof copies made up!

Where has the year gone?? November doesn't seem that long ago (nor is it that far away now) but it's May already! That can only mean one thing - Its almost time for Camp!. You may be thinking that you're too old for camp, as many of us are, but I mean Camp NaNoWriMo!

Its a new summer program started by the lovely people at OLL last summer. As quoted from their blog:
"Camp is a chance to enjoy the NaNoWriMo experience in a pared-down, simplified environment. All of the guilt monkeys, none of the November!"

The goal is still 50,000 words, the time limit is still a month. But you can choose to take part in either June or August! Great for those people who are busy during November, and a challenge for those mad enough to try and do all 3 sittings in one year!

So are any of you taking part? or thinking of taking part?

My friends and I are taking part, even though for the first week of Camp I will be away walking Hadrian's wall for charity.
